Million Dollar Pursuit plot
The petty crook Monte Norris plans a major heist and enlists the assistance of a gang of experienced criminals, led by nightclub owner Carlo Petrov. At Carlo's nightclub, Ronnie sings Laverne, who is in a relationship with Police Lieutenant Matt Whitcomb. The preparations for the robbery require a lot of time and effort and Ronnie gets wind of the matter.
