Shit.

A whole series of mediocre actors who do a poor job in this substandard story. Tattered without talent, attention, or love for the profession - perhaps the only exception is Eleanor Tomlinson. Quite surprising actually to see such rubbish coming from England, after all, so much better stuff comes from there that you would almost forget that this does not happen naturally or automatically.

Deadly boring, far too cartoonish and extremely predictable, the entirety of Alleycats was certainly not a party to sit through. Director Ian Bonhôte and various screenwriters jointly create a typical case of a number of teenagers taking on the big bad government. They probably didn't have to think about it for long and the uninspired plot twists only confirm that. The cast members don't exactly excel either, only Eleanor Tomlinson seemed to make a sincere effort to make something of her character. What follows are a number of uninteresting chases and stale crime elements that go nowhere and, above all, trot by painfully slowly. It completely escapes me what the makers saw in this story, because the effect lacks almost any form of motivation.
