Luciana's world collapses when she loses her job due to her pregnancy and finds herself in a financial and personal crisis due to a bad investment from her husband. Suddenly her life turns 180 degrees and she has to deal with creditors and budget cuts. She soon has had enough and her new life goal becomes a return to her old safe existence. She wants her job back and simply be pregnant without any worries. In her despair, she resorts to every possible means to achieve that goal. In a synchronized storyline, a depressed police officer fights his own battle against injustice and prejudice. Their paths cross.
