The Passion of Ayn Rand plot
In 1949 a lot of eyes were focused on the eccentric writer and philosopher Ayn Rand and her special vision of life. Her philosophy was especially evident in her bizarre love life. Ayn (Helen Mirren) is deeply attracted to her brilliant, young and handsome protégée Nathaniel (Eric Stoltz). Confident that she can control everyone's heart and soul, she convinces her husband (Peter Fonda) and Barbara (Julie Delpy), the wife of her new love, that they must agree to a long-term relationship between her and her protégé, while they all just stay married.
