Motor Patrol plot
"HIGHWAY HEROES! ROARING INTO ACTION AT BULLET SPEED!"
Ken Foster is a trainee motorcycle cop and engaged to Jean Collins, sister of motorcycle cop Larry Collins. Larry works for the Los Angeles Police Department's traffic department and participates in the investigation into the systematic killing of traffic cops. One day Larry catches up with a stolen car used in the murders and is killed by the driver. Ken is expelled from the police academy and ordered to go incognito and impersonate a car thief. Police hope Ken will be accepted by the city's criminal car scene. Shortly before the criminal gang is rounded up, Ken's true identity is discovered by the gang leader.
