"Don't trust what they say."
Four students doing parapsychological research are sent to an abandoned recreation complex to investigate the truth of alleged paranormal events. The gossip of the local population, who attributes the events to the presence of demonic forces, is regarded by the students as laughable fabrications. However, when darkness falls and some inexplicable incidents take place, the stories of the local residents suddenly feel very believable and all hell breaks loose.
