Bloody Mondays & Strawberry Pies is a film about boredom and the lost ability to do nothing. The intriguing emotion of boredom that can be positive and negative forces us to think about why we do what we do. The storylines of the main characters, a youngster from Doetinchem, a 45-year-old woman who, when she was 16, shot children out of boredom, a Wall Street trader, a desert nomad, a man who has been painting De Tijd for 42 years, and a former spy of 93 are intertwined. .
