Un Rayo de Luz plot

During his short stay in Spain, Carlos, the eldest son of a wealthy Italian family, meets Elena, a modest but humorous singer. They marry in secret. One day Carlos decides to fly back to his homeland to tell his parents everything, but he dies in a plane accident. From the marriage a daughter is born: Marisol. Elena asks the Italian family to take care of the education of the child because she wants to develop her career in the singing world herself. And so Marisol ends up in a family where she is not really accepted at first.
