Käsky plot
It is 1918 and a Civil War is raging in Finland between the Social Democratic Reds and the Senate-controlled Whites. Private Aaro Harjula returns from Germany to join the Whites, but becomes disillusioned when he sees the imprisoned Reds being treated and their wives raped. When one of the women tries to escape, Harjula has to take her to a military tribunal. However, that seems easier said than done. During an attempt to escape, they become stranded together on a deserted island and a form of friendship develops.
