Me'ever Laharim Vehagvaot plot
David is retiring after twenty-seven years of service. He returns to his home and family after living away from them for years and tries to live civilian life. Like his friends who came before him, he thinks he'll be in a private sector leadership position, but he's having trouble adjusting to the pace of "the new Israel," a competitive culture dominated by success and money. Far too often he sits at home alone and watches a morning show on TV or listens to the radio. Then a friend suggests they work for a company that sells nutritional supplements. David sees this as an opportunity to get into business and make a career. But with this decision, he and his family are slowly becoming entangled in a web of dark forces that rule life in Israel.
