"A Crash Course In Terror!"
A 17-year-old college student - who just got her driver's license - has her first car accident. She shares her personal details with the other driver, a stranger. Later that evening, she receives a visit from some school friends in her remote home. The intention is to make it a pleasant evening. What they don't know, however, is that the stranger is actually a serial killer. And he's already on his way to them...

A very mediocre thriller that never leaves the beaten track. The genre designation "horror" is again (what is that these days?) completely unjustified. This has to do with the fact that the identity of the murderer is already revealed in the opening sequence and that it is not a supernatural entity (cf. Jason or Michael). Admittedly: the mask is strange enough to instill some fear. That does not prevent the attempts at suspense from being rather meager and the final confrontation with the killer not very sensational. Fender Bender is just filler, nothing more.

Not really surprising, but very solid in concept. The perpetrator looks fantastic with his menacing mask, but his actions are also appealing. The cast does a good job, especially for this genre.
And the ending is somewhat surprising considering the course of the film.
Conclusion: small fine film in which the tension is cleverly built up. There is a constant threatening atmosphere to be noticed. 7/10
