Major Weldon and Leonora are married and live together at a military base in the south where Weldon is stationed. When it soon becomes apparent that they are not in a loving marriage and Leonora is in a relationship with Lt. Colonel Langdon. Weldon knows about their relationship, but he doesn't care. He feels much more for the male sex and has a crush on a young soldier.
