Beyond the Rave plot

"All they wanted was a night to remember"

Ed is a soldier who is still a few hours off. The next morning he has to fly to Iraq. With the help of his best friend Necro, he sets out on his last night to search for his missing girlfriend Jen. She was last seen in the company of a bizarre group of people who live mainly at night. When he finds her at a party in a remote forest, he discovers that the leader of the party, who is organizing the party, is looking for much more than just having fun and that not everyone there will see the coming sunrise. .

Not much to write home about. A confusing and fleeting film. 4/10*

Hammer's Resurrection took the form of a quintessentially British zombie film featuring some notably big names (later on). The problem is that director Matthias Hoene deliberately chooses to divide his film into 19 chapters, meaning you're constantly interrupted just when things seem to be getting out of hand. This is especially problematic in terms of structure, especially considering the short 97-minute running time. Furthermore, the rave segment receives very little attention. Overall, the acting is solid and the effects look professional, but unfortunately, it's quite a heavy load to sit through with any interest.
