The term 'Supermarionation' is best known from the puppet series 'Thunderbirds', but Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and their team of puppeteers, voice actors and technicians were responsible for many more series. For this nostalgic documentary, Sylvia Anderson (Lady Penelope) and David Graham (Parker, Brains) once again played the characters from 45 years ago. Not only a look back at the history of the studio that was responsible for 'Thunderbirds', but also a look behind the scenes where Brian Johnson demonstrates how he and his colleagues managed to create convincing special effects in an inventive way for little money.
