Although director Bartkowiak had an excellent debut with Romeo Must, who made Exit wounds and cradle 2 the grave, and could thus demonstrate that he can still make a spectacular film with little story, this is different with this film. The film has reasonable fight scenes from time to time, but they don't always look good. The characters aren't interesting either and Chris Klein gets on your nerves. Taboo of the black eyed peas as Vega, is the biggest low point of this film.

Guilty pleasure.

The film itself isn't very good, but the atmosphere appeals to me exactly - the somewhat strange use of language, the nimbleness of the characters. A nice cast anyway, it's not just about Kreuk. And yes, they may not be dead A-list actors, but they do portray their roles credibly, although there may be something to criticize about some scenes.

I've never played the games, that's probably better if you want to appreciate the film for its value. And yet, in the movie-to-a-game genre, it's certainly not bad - I'm reminded of the latest Tomb Raider failure, on a huge budget an equally huge disappointment. In that comparison, this is almost a masterpiece.

Lousy film, acting (Balrog's half-movie text was his repeated laugh) and a weak story. The music wasn't great either. Even the characters I know from the SNES game (super) Street fighter (2 world or something) didn't look much like them. mr. Bison didn't look like much and I was waiting for a head jump from him and I still do that now. Most of the characters were also missing. Where was Sagat? They were actually in Thailand...
