After Sophie has a terrible car accident, she is rushed to the hospital. Fortunately for her, cardiac surgeon Albert Beck is on duty at the time and manages to save her life. When Sophie recovers in the hospital, Albert continues to care for her. The way he does this causes Sophie's mother to question his good intentions.
