In 1977 Albert Spaggiari is arrested for organizing a major robbery in Nice. However, he manages to escape and remains untraceable by the police. Vincent, a journalist, discovers after a few years that the man is hiding in a South American town, but when he comes into contact with him, he turns out not to be the dangerous bandit he had expected.
