Wijster plot
December 2, 1975. Susan keeps her father (Rob) talking for too long, causing him to miss the train to work. Later that day she finds out that he is on the local train from Groningen to Zwolle that has been hijacked by a group of young Moluccans. The slow train comes to a stop near Wijster. Twelve terrifying days follow, for Susan and her family, as well as for her father and the fellow hostages on the train. Susan's father is editor-in-chief of a major newspaper. He mainly lives for his work. When he threatens to be shot, he realizes how important his family is to him. When hijacker Noes lets him live, he realizes that he gets another chance.
