It is always funny to read how Pippo got worked up about 'auteur cinema', without it ever being entirely clear what exactly he meant by that and what bothered him so much about it. The pretensions, I assume. Well, this is one of those 'auteur films', by Cesare Canevari, of whom I haven't seen any other films. For I assume he wanted to make a serious film, and not an 'exploitation flick', even though Erica Blanc does take her clothes off. I found it a laborious affair about a young lady (Blanc) who is quite lost and needs psychological help, although apparently they didn't do that in Italy at that time. She has relationships with many men who are just as messed up as she is. In search of the Prince Charming, she apparently didn't know that solace for your demons never comes from men. But she finds that out too late.
