De Vijfde Bruid plot

Petra came from a Limburg family, but twenty years ago she disappeared from their lives. The filmmaker, her cousin, discovers that she has been living ever since as one of the five brides of artist and hermit Anton Heyboer. The filmmaker wants to get to know her, her fellow wives and their husband, who have all been living in isolation for years. With her Indian bridal make-up and her colorful clothes, Petra is a striking figure. She doesn't like to talk about herself, but she does talk about her great love Anton. After some digging, the filmmaker discovers a lot about the remarkable past of Petra, her mother and Anton.
