Gigante plot
"An extra large love story"
Jara, 35, is a shy and lonely man who works as a security guard in a supermarket in a suburb of Montevideo. He keeps an eye on the surveillance cameras that are hung in the building. Since Jara works the night shifts, he doesn't have much to do. He passes the time with his videos, crossword puzzles and music. Until he meets Julia. She works in the supermarket as a cleaning lady. Jara is going to follow her. First only through the security cameras, later he also literally follows her, to the movies, the beach and when she meets another man. One day, Julia threatens to be fired. That presents Jara with a choice: to give up his obsession or give in to his feelings for Julia.
