Nice.

Had to think really hard about The World's End, can't help but see Wright watch this movie. Or it's just a favor because this movie borrowed something from Shaun of the Dead.

Fortunately, it is much better than Shaun. Easy, somewhat nonsensical but delicious British pub/nerd humor. It is noticeable how many nerd comedies have been released lately. And not the type of laughing-with-nerds, but rather empathizing-with-nerds. Here too, a bunch of "imagineers" are central.

The whole time travel thing provides a few funny scenes. Wouldn't really call it a parody, more a film that consciously deals with a lot of genre clichés and tries to create its own comic universe. The leading trio is allowed to shine regularly, too bad Farris and the rest of the supporting roles can't keep up at the same level.

Smooth and funny movie. In terms of humor certainly successful, in other areas perhaps a bit too simple. Then Wright does it a lot better with his World's End.

Nice film in which three friends try to close a time leak and get help from a lady. A comedy that approaches time travel in an original way. Very simple in design and the humor is rather dry, but this is perhaps the strength of the film. It has little substance, but it is a nice watch.

Great for a lazy Sunday afternoon or later in the evening, simple entertainment and a short playing time.

Nothing special, but not an eyesore either.
