My Stolen Revolution plot

Director Nahid Sarvestani was a young, left-wing student when the Iranian revolution broke out in 1979. Once Ayatollah Khomeini took power, he had many members of the left-wing opposition imprisoned and executed. That fate also suffered the brother of Nahid - she herself managed to flee to Sweden. Thirty years later, Nahid's suppressed emotions over the loss of her brother resurface. She uses the Arab Spring to visit her old friends.
