Larceny plot

"THEY MADE THEIR OWN RULES... and played for keeps!"

Rick Mason is a criminal who makes money from the patriotism and grief of shortly after World War II. Mason manages to get money from the war widow Deborah Owens Clark, who gives up all her savings for a funeral that doesn't take place. When Mason falls in love with the widow Owens Clark, he feels a pang of conscience. He does not take into account his gangster boss Silky Randall, who fights Mason's arguments with bullets and violence.
