Tommy Gordon is in jail for several years. He is supported by New York City politician Steve Rockford. Kay, the faithful friend of Tommy Gordon, wants to get involved with Steve Rockford in order to get her lover free. Then Kay ends up in the hospital after an accident at the hands of Finn. Tommy Gordons gets permission to visit her there. When Steve Rockford shows up during this visit, a fight ensues between him and Tommy Gordon, which will have dramatic consequences.
