Behind the High Wall plot
"The untold story of the BIG-HOUSE PRISON BREAK!"
A group of convicted criminals escape from prison. They kill a guard, kidnap the prison director and force an unwilling cellmate to go with them. The getaway car is involved in a traffic accident, in which only the prison director and the unwilling cellmate survive. The warden steals the $100,000 from the deceased criminals. When the police arrive, he accuses the reluctant cellmate of the theft.

Not surprising: an interesting problem developed and I was curious whether and how the prison director could get out of it. A bit of a shame about the melodramatic ending.
