"A journey through family and fear in the violent world of '80s clubland."

Danny is a lonely factory worker, beaten by life, depressed and beaten up in front of his children. Then he decides to hit back. He befriends a group of bouncers who integrate him into their environment and teach him to stand up for himself. It's starting to get trite, always just the sufficiency for British crime movies.

Clubbed is also good again. These kinds of films are rarely masterpieces, but they always stick. That language remains beautiful, the pace is nice, and it never takes too long. Acting is good, although Salmon stands out for me. Nice atmosphere, nice music.

Pretty nicely constructed story with that typical British crime atmosphere. The film is raw and chilly with a few hard violent action scenes. Decent cast. 6/10

Rather simplistic and rather weakly played low budget British crime drama. The amateurish approach of the whole largely negates the good intentions. With a better director this could have turned out to be something, but now the film is mostly very mediocre.
