With Real Stars above My Head plot

Alfredo has MS. He is afraid that his illness is progressive and he therefore wants to fulfill his dream and go hiking in the Himalayas before it is too late. His doctor advises him against it, but he leaves anyway. Alfredo gets lost during his journey and finds shelter in a monastery for old Buddhist nuns. The nuns pray, teach the locals how to read and maintain the vegetable garden. There Alfredo learns to look at his life in a different way.
