If his life was more like a romantic comedy, Thomas would be dumped a little less often. He would date an amazing woman, Meg Ryan for example. They would love each other forever and he would never catch her in bed with another man. Consequently, it would not be necessary to return to live with his parents at the age of 35. Florence, on the other hand, always thought her life was like a romantic comedy. At the age of seventeen she was bombed into a single mother, but since then she has been in control.
