Puerto Rico accountant Charles "Chick" Graham returns home late one night. Chick must then determine that his doppelganger has taken his place. This doppelganger insists Chick is a con man. Even his wife Cora and his business partner Buster Cox believe the doppelganger. When Chick is also accused of a bank robbery, he hopes for support from his ex-lover Mary Davis and her brother Walt.
