The Kids Menu plot

This documentary shows there is hope in the fight against childhood obesity: when children are given information and options, they often choose healthier alternatives. Joe Cross meets experts, parents, teachers and children. He comes to realize that childhood obesity is not the real problem. Rather, it is a symptom of a much bigger problem. The lack of knowledge about what healthy food is. Lack of access to healthy and affordable options, as well as the influence of negative role models, a parent, teacher or even a celebrity contribute to a huge increase in childhood obesity.
