"I framed the man I love!"
Jewel thief Ann Martin has recently been released from prison. Ann is forced by a gang of gangsters to take a job with the reclusive old woman Madame Rousseau. Madame Rousseau owns a myrrh oil company. This oil is an indispensable ingredient for the makers of the 'Temptation' perfume, which has already brought them fabulous sums of money. However, these makers want to buy up the entire stock of myrrh, but Madame Rousseau refuses to sell. The gangster gang, led by George Trent and Ed Praskins, have offered their services to the buyers and they force Ann to find out the location of the stash of myrrh.
