In 1972, the patients and doctors at the Stephens Sanitorium were brutally murdered. Forty years later, Dr. William Matthews embarks on a burgeoning career as a doctor in New York, until a tragic accident with his wife changes his life. He decides to take a job at a small Texas clinic, Greenpark. Emily, the secretary, has hired Wiliam to treat a special patient. Sam Withers, 74, suffers from a lobotomy that he received in 1968 under the treatment of Dr. Terrance Stephens at the Stephens Sanitary. However, no one is aware that the Greenpark clinic is located in the same building as the former Stephens Sanitarium, except for Sam.
