Adama Meshuga'at plot
The main character of the film is twelve-year-old Dvir, whom we follow from the summer of 1974 to the spring of 1975. Dvir not only struggles with the usual adolescent problems, but he is also responsible for taking care of his depressed mother Miri. The leaders of the kibbutz show little tolerance for Miri's fragile condition. Out of anger at this, Dvir rebels more and more emphatically against the strict rules of the kibbutz. Relief from his hard life seems to appear when Stephan, his mother's elderly Swiss friend, visits the kibbutz.
