The Soviet ship Arktika sinks in the Atlantic Ocean. At the same time, the French ship Victuar sank in the Pacific Ocean. The Soviet submarine is ordered to investigate. No one is allowed to know the departure time and the route of the submarine. However, the security service receives a report that a spy from an enemy country is on board.
