I mainly know Neill Blomkamp from District 9, that surrealistic alien invasion that was actually a metaphor for Apartheid. Here too he plays with aliens that look very crocodile-like. Humanity has been subjected to them and life on Earth has been completely drained.

Fine and handsome images of this new apocalyptic world. The plot is a bit rambunctious and a bit messy. There is no real line, but on the other hand, the images make up for a lot.

Fascinating short film that is difficult to rate. The story seems part of another whole. The effect is very good. The apocalyptic world is very beautifully filmed and not suitable for the faint-hearted among us. Exciting from start to finish. 4.0

Same problem as Firebase and the rest of this series: it all looks fantastic, a grandiose violent comic sf pulp fantasy that leaves you wanting more but the story is not finished. As if you have eaten a super tasty but tiny dish in a very expensive restaurant and then want to get something from the chip shop because you are still dying of hunger.
