"Filmed at White Heat...At the Bottom of Desire Street!"
Dan Colbert is a longshoreman in New Orleans. He tries to live an honest life, but comes into contact with one of the city's biggest criminals, Zero Saxon, who controls the unions and also smuggles goods. When his best friend is murdered by Saxon's men, Corbett decides to team up with the authorities to dismantle Saxon's operations.
