Luna Papa plot

Somewhere in a remote corner of Central Asia, where the aftermath of the war in Afganistan can still be felt, lives 17-year-old Mamlakat. She dreams of a career as a movie star and always hangs out at theaters. One night she is seduced by someone who claims to be an actor and even a friend of Tom Cruise. She becomes pregnant with him, but the 'actor' has suddenly disappeared. After a failed abortion, she has to confess to her father that she was pregnant. He decides that the family's honor must be saved.
