Ceux Qui Restent plot
A man and a woman meet at one of the most difficult moments in their lives and do everything they can to avoid falling in love. For five years now Cécile, Bertrand's wife, has been battling cancer. Bertrand has a hard time and doubts whether he can continue to fight the terrible disease with his wife. His love is also severely tested. One day in the hospital he meets Lorraine, who has recently moved in with her boyfriend only to find out that he too has cancer. Lorraine isn't sure her love is strong enough to handle it all. Bertrand and Lorraine begin to hang out more and more. They support each other in these difficult times, offer each other a shoulder to cry on. However much they resist, the crush rears its head.
