La Reine Soleil plot
Nothing destined young Akhesa to rule Egypt. In the 14th century BC chaos and dissension reigned over the country. The pharaoh Akhenaton leaves Thebes to build the new Sun City, while Nefertite has also withdrawn from public life. Their 14-year-old daughter Akhesa feels abandoned and regularly flees the palace to stroll through the streets with her cat Bastat. After a serious argument with her father, the lonely Akhesa decides to look for her mother. Unexpectedly, she is accompanied by the adventurous Thut. Together, the two adolescents embark on a perilous quest across the desert, being chased by the enemies of the Pharaoh. Fate will eventually bring them closer together.
