The Furies plot
TC Jeffords is the cunning and highly successful ranch owner of 'The Furies'. TC announces the engagement to the wealthy Flo, his second wife-to-be. This news is not warmly received by TC's charismatic daughter Vance. Vance has a forbidden and bought off romance with gambler Rip Darrow, whose father was killed by TC in the past. Vance gets into a bloody conflict with Flo, after which TC disowns his daughter. When TC evicts the Mexican Herera family from a residence on his estate and has Juan Herrera, Vance's childhood friend, hanged for owning a horse branded 'The Furies', Vance vows revenge on her father.
