Jacky, a troubled young woman with an unyielding alcohol addiction, is released from rehab and given a second chance with a new job and furnished apartment in Havenhurst. Guilty for the tragic loss of her 8-year-old daughter, Jacky is soon drawn into the mysteries of Havenhurst, most notably the unsolved disappearance of her apartment's previous occupant, a young woman who was also in rehab.
