Kuchibiru Ni Uta Wo plot
Yuri Kashiwaga was until recently a famous pianist. One day she returns to her native village in the remote Goto Islands near Nagasaki. On the condition that she does not have to play the piano, Yuri replaces her friend Haruko, the choir leader who is going on maternity leave. The choir wants to participate in a singing competition of a Japanese broadcaster. The song they are studying is called “The Letter”. To better understand the song, the choir members, who are all 15 years old, are instructed by Yuri to write a letter to themselves 15 years later…
