Finally a Dutch film with a fresh, original angle. Not a predictable romantic comedy or a picture related to the Second World War, but a contemporary, realistic drama. Perhaps not quite perfect and certainly not intended for the masses, but a culture clash between the down-to-earth Dutch Lin and a rowdy, crime-prone Romanian teenager that is well worth the effort. Appearing with integrity and authenticity, the relationship between the adult, apparently self-confident woman (with as it turns out, an unprocessed trauma) and an unstable teenager from a foreign country with a hopeless existence is sharply elaborated by a director unknown to me, who immediately makes a solid business card. issues. Thanks also to the strong playing Kraakman and Iancu (a natural talent). Too bad about the weak, unsatisfying ending. You have the feeling that the whole story has not been told yet, saves half a star.
