Mildred Lynch is released on bail. Joan meets the attractive Larry Collins and they meet more often. Joan falls in love with Larry, who is also good friends with Joan Wilburn, the District Attorney, who released her. The fact that Mildred hasn't told him that she's been in jail and that she's even been paroled by Joan puts their relationship in jeopardy.
