I still didn't think it was a bad movie. Was curious what she was going to do with him.

Moral of the movie: don't cheat.

Meh.

Swimfan is Fatal Attraction, but for teenagers. In every way this is less. Very occasionally there is a comical situation in between (the computer screen for example), but otherwise this is chewing the cud and ruminating again. The final in particular is ten times nothing.

In addition to a saltless appearance, Jesse Bradford also has no acting talent, which means that Erika Christensen and her seedy appearance must save the calf from drowning, something that also succeeds reasonably well.

With its 85 minutes, the film is over pretty quickly. Being an ex-swimmer, I think they could have kept it a little more credible in that area, but the professionalism doesn't drip here, so I can't complain about that.

“So, what you're saying is that making love to me was a mistake?”

Erika Christensen is on a roll as a psychopathic femme fatale. But she is the only bright spot in an otherwise predictable thriller that could have used a little more madness and tension. There doesn't have to be a rabbit in a microwave, but something similar would have been welcome. Bradford is boring and you quickly get tired of talking about the other actors. The end is so called by now in the earlier pool scene between Bradford and Christensen. Yet Swimfan is not an annoying film due to the short running time and Christensen, but it is one with a number of serious drawbacks.
