Full Metal Village plot
Outside the cows graze in meadows and inside home-baked cookies are eaten during the coffee break. Farmers proudly display their lawns and corn fields, while their children dream of traveling far. Daily life in the inconspicuous German rural village of Wacken is, as always, peaceful. But once a year that idyllic tranquility is disturbed by the Wacken Open Air, a large heavy metal music festival. 40,000 people dressed in black can be found in the neighborhood supermarket, in the meadows and with their fists raised in front of a huge stage, where 'blasphemous noise' blares from the loudspeakers. Two different cultures are confronted during that one weekend.
