Very mediocre movie with exaggerated fuss about abortion and the devil. Comes across as clumsy at times (dialogues, sets, actions, acting) and has a weak atmosphere. As far as I'm concerned, it can go in the trash along with the fetus.

MOH episode 17.

Little horror, just some gore. And some odd monsters. Unfortunately, this film doesn't have much more to offer. Quite disappointed, therefore, and that is why it didn't get a passing grade. It was nice to see some familiar faces, though; the acting was decent.

2.5*.

An entertaining and at times ominous horror episode in which director John Carpenter gets to showcase some good effects. The monsters are a bit old-fashioned, but a number of murders are presented graphically and explicitly. On the other hand, Pro-Life looks somewhat aimless and flawed in terms of atmosphere, with an ugly setting and a sparsely furnished location. In that respect, Carpenter relies mainly on the mystery and the short format, which guide the viewer fairly quickly to the finale. Pro-Life doesn't truly convince, but the iconic filmmaker is still capable of quality.
