Good film in which two girlfriends drive to Morocco to buy things for their future business. The film starts as a cheerful road movie, but has quite a few dramatic developments and is also based on a true story. Credibly portrayed and especially the scene at customs is exciting. Furthermore, Bracha van Doesburgh and Nabila Marhaben are well cast as the girlfriends.

Nice, but not great.
I have to admit that I like Crijns' direction, because the film does look nice and slick.
Furthermore, the acting is not very good level. Bracha is the biggest irritation factor, but that is actually partly due to the character she has to put down here. She has to play a bit of a blonde slut who only thinks of herself and that doesn't help of course.
I think Nabila Marhaben is reasonable, but her character also lends itself a bit more to the compassion of the viewer. So that also plays a part.
I also had a hard time with the fact that the film 'babbling on' for so long. An enormous amount of time is put into the whole trip to Morocco, blah blah. Partly because of this, the tension that one tries to create after discovering Miloud's corpse doesn't quite come across.
Nice that they had chosen a homosexual Maloud, which makes the viewer wonder whether his extensive apologies to his father for leaving his home and family or for the reason for his departure.
A film that manages to captivate you, but also doesn't manage to become anything special. Hence the score in the middle.
