Gone to Maui plot
With plane tickets in his pocket, windsurfer Mickey Steward has reluctantly agreed to his father's request to come home to Boston and take over the family business. But his plan to return to life as a banker takes another turn when he meets Paniolo, a South American cowboy who used to work on the cattle ranches of Hawaii. When he and Mickey save a drowning man, they get a restaurant as a reward. For Mickey, this is the chance to be a bartender in paradise. Only what they don't know is that this restaurant is used to smuggle goods in and out of the islands. And if that's not enough, Mickey is found guilty because the previous owner of the restaurant was murdered.
